Chris LeBlanc is a seasoned operations professional with a distinguished career spanning military aviation, technical instruction, and commercial airline management. A retired naval flight officer, LeBlanc began his service as an enlisted nuclear reactor operator and electronics technician and later served as an instructor. Currently, as the Director of the Operations Control Center at Silver Airways, he oversees critical functions in flight dispatch, operational decision-making, personnel leadership, and regulatory compliance.
As an officer, he held leadership roles at the division and department levels, strongly emphasizing aviation safety—conducting annual evaluations of aircrew safety and qualification programs across all E-2C Hawkeye squadrons. He accumulated over 2,000 flight hours and operated in two combat zones aboard U.S. Navy E-2C command and control aircraft and a U.S. Air Force airborne sensor platform.
His aviation assignments extended beyond the cockpit, overseeing squadron-level training and evaluation programs specifically focusing on aviation safety and crew qualification standards. His final active-duty role was as Regional Program Director for Navy Wounded Warrior – Safe Harbor, where he led a multidisciplinary team supporting wounded, ill, and injured service members with conditions ranging from PTSD and traumatic brain injury to ALS and cancer.
Following his military retirement, LeBlanc transitioned into civilian roles, further diversifying his professional portfolio. He worked as a liability claims representative at GEICO, taught high school chemistry and environmental science in Florida’s public school system and was a regional consultant for a digital systems company. His return to aviation began with completing the Aircraft Dispatcher course at the Sheffield School of Aeronautics, signaling a deliberate move back into the field that has defined much of his professional life.
Since re-entering the aviation industry, LeBlanc has progressed through several leadership positions at Silver Airways. Beginning as an Aircraft Dispatcher, he advanced to Duty Manager, then Manager of the Operations Control Center, and ultimately into his current role. Along the way, he has been tasked with certifying dispatcher competency, conducting training, and leading real-time operational decisions that affect flight safety and efficiency across the Silver Airways network.
LeBlanc holds a Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma, a Project Management credential from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Chemistry from the University of South Florida. This academic background and his operational experience position him as a leader with the technical fluency and organizational insight necessary for managing complex aviation systems.
LeBlanc’s career reflects a sustained capacity to operate effectively in complex, high-pressure environments, consistently lead cross-functional teams with clarity and purpose, and implement disciplined, safety-driven systems. These attributes continue to define his leadership and make him a critical asset in the ever-evolving landscape of commercial aviation operations. His next professional chapter begins with completing the world-recognized Sheffield School of Aeronautics Aircraft Dispatcher course, marking a return to the field that has given him the greatest professional passion and satisfaction—aviation.
