He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication, focusing on Advertising and Publicity, from Salgado de Oliveira University (UNIVERSO). With over twenty years of experience in airport management, Veras has held various key positions ranging from Operations Agent to Director of Operations in diverse public, private, national, and multinational institutions.
Throughout his illustrious career, Veras has led several high-profile aviation projects, including the ANAC-approved initiative that certified the Rio de Janeiro/Galeão International Airport to receive large aircraft like the Airbus 380 and Boeing 747-8. He played pivotal roles in planning major international events such as the FIFA World Cup, the Confederations Cup, and the Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympics.
Veras is recognized for enhancing operational efficiency, punctuality, and passenger satisfaction, significantly contributing to the esteemed reputation of several airports nationally and internationally.
