“The ammunition and military vehicle production in Ukraine has increased, and we focus our services on Ukrainian military customers, having transported up to 90 tanks from the Czech Republic to Ukraine,” says Josef Matějovský, Managing Director of Advanced ROAD.
Advanced ROAD is transforming the global carrier space with its specialized logistics services that ensure the safe and timely transport of military cargo like ammunition, explosives, reactive materials, grenades, arms, army vehicles, and other defense equipment. It has an EX3 and EX2-compliant fleet that delivers cargo using individualized, tailored solutions for high-performance loading of small boxes, standard packages, full cargo, and oversized truckloads.
Advanced ROAD’s fleet includes highly secured trucks, vans, and marine containers geared with modules provided by GPS Dozor. This fleet tracking app allows tracking drivers’ contact details, shipment dispatch information, pickup and drop-off times, and real-time vehicle location.
Collaborating with leading logistics partners, Advanced ROAD handles convoy transport for imports, exports, and cross-trade applications within Eurasia, from Portugal to Georgia and Finland to Italy, successfully fulfilling civilian and military purposes. It also provides high-armed escort and transit permits across borders by leveraging its Accord Dangereux Routier (European regulations concerning the international transport of dangerous goods by road) competency.
Starting with a small order, Advanced ROAD now receives orders from clients throughout Europe. From a single employee without a truck or van working with a notebook and PC, Advanced ROAD has grown to gather an 18-strong workforce with 11 trucks. It prioritizes direct transport for new and imminent customer requests concerning transit permits, escorts, and quotations. Assuring consistently precise quotations, Advanced ROAD maps client preferences in speed, price, reliability, visibility, and special treatment to calculate the total cost against fuel and transportation rates. It also ensures they receive the required permits and critical documentation in time to guarantee on-schedule delivery of consignments.
Currently, it is working on gaining permits in every country across Europe to boost a smooth flow of military supplies in the continent and worldwide. Moving forward, Advanced ROAD plans to purchase new trucks from Scania, one of the largest companies in central Europe, and develop unique techniques for transporting special military cargo safely and on time.
