Heliproducts is a leading full-service maintenance, and repair provider, offering premium services related to Airbus AS350 and H125 series helicopter inspection, customization, and delivery. A trusted resource in the aviation space, it is defined by its commitment to delivering robust support and procurement solutions, which involve restoring older aircraft in need of major milestone inspections to as-new condition for sale and leasing.

Specializing in 12-year inspections, Heliproducts offers on-site inspection and repair of composite panels, sheet metal structures, avionics, and components, along with state-of-the-art painting and refinishing capabilities. All of these services are performed by its skilled technicians using the most innovative tools and technology. By stripping down the machinery and performing structural repairs, the team ensures helicopters are returned to service in turn-key condition while resetting the inspection cycle. Modular engines are reconfigured in Heliproducts’ engine shop for customers that do not need a fully overhauled engine.

One of the things that set Heliproducts apart from its competition is that it goes above and beyond to revive and reassemble the aircraft from the ground up.

“When we perform a 72-month inspection on a gearbox or drivetrain components, we'll tear them down and upgrade them to the latest mod status.

When it comes to reassembly, our team will prep and paint each component to OEM specifications, recertify them to ensure compliance, and transform them to an as-new condition, “ says Peter Schendrieck, president of Heliproducts.

Beyond these transformational and in-depth repairs, it also offers tailored solutions for small private operators that do not have MRO capabilities in-house.

Apart from its industry-leading inspection services, Heliproducts is known for short turnaround times because of its dedication to quality combined with an intuitive outlook on the supply chain. Unlike various other machinery maintenance operations, Heliproducts projects are rarely held up due to delayed parts shipments.

“In recent years, there have been significant supply chain challenges with respect to parts and components,” Schendrieck says. “We keep a healthy stock of products to meet present demands and complete future projects without any bottlenecks. Thanks to our strong relationships with manufacturers and partners, we are capable of finding alternate sources for parts and ensuring utmost reliability, especially on a timeline.”

Heliproducts was instrumental in meeting the needs of a client that wanted to acquire an AS350B2 for touring purposes. Even during the COVID-19 shutdowns in 2020, when supply chains were severely disrupted, the team delivered on its promises and ensured the helicopter reached the client in pristine condition on time. Whether it's brand new interiors or custom paint jobs, nothing had to be sacrificed. The client was impressed by the hard work and commitment of the team and ordered another AS350B2 the following year, which was again delivered on time. During these times, parts and manpower were in short supply, but as always, the customer was the top priority for the team. To date, the client has utilized both aircraft to a combined total of more than 3000 flight hours since delivery.

Heliproducts is also alleviating the consequences of the knowledge gap in the industry due to an aging workforce by adopting a proactive approach to hiring apprentices and training the next generation of mechanics, engineers, technicians, and aviation maintenance professionals. By investing in new talent, it hopes to bolster the aviation services market and continue providing top-tier MRO maintenance for its customers.

Its compelling value proposition of bringing old aircraft back to life is both refreshing and important, along with its ability to source parts, build long-standing relationships with its clients, and act as a one-stop shop for all AS350/H125-related requests.
