A high-level defence conference of the three Baltic states, DAIMEX Baltic 2026, will take place in Vilnius, focusing on investments in local defence technologies. On the second day of the event, participants and guests will have the opportunity to experience the latest defence technologies firsthand and observe live demonstrations at the Pabradė military training area.
The international defence conference DAIMEX Baltic 2026 will be held at the LITEXPO Exhibition and Congress Centre in Vilnius. The event will bring together top-level political leaders from the three Baltic states, military commanders, defence policymakers, and representatives of the defence industry.
The conference theme is: “Investments in defence technologies and local capabilities as a cornerstone of NATO’s eastern flank defence.” Key topics will include regional security priorities, strengthening defence capabilities, NATO planning and procurement processes, the role of industry, and long-term investment decisions.
Speakers will include senior representatives from the Ministries of Defence of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The conference is expected to welcome participants from NATO and EU institutions, military leadership, and defence industry leaders.
The event is unique in that it is organized by the main defence and security industry associations of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, in cooperation with the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union and the Chief of Defence of Lithuania, General Raimundas Vaikšnoras, who is the main partner of the event. The conference is held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda.
The DAIMEX Baltic 2026 defence industry exhibition and live demonstrations will take place at the General Silvestras Žukauskas training area in Pabradė.
This is one of the most modern military training areas in the Baltic region, where the latest defence technologies and their practical applications will be presented under real field conditions. The event will bring together policymakers, military leaders, decision-makers, experts, and manufacturers.
The exhibition will focus on real capabilities, attracting manufacturing and advanced technologies to Lithuania, strengthening industrial cooperation, and exploring the potential of the “Green Corridor” initiative, which enables the accelerated establishment of manufacturing and R&D capacities in Lithuania.
The demonstration area will feature dynamic programs, including mobility, reconnaissance, UAS and counter-UAS, force protection, C4ISR, drone neutralization, communications, sensors, and other operational solutions.
Participants from more than 30 countries have already registered to attend. It is expected that around 80 defence industry companies will showcase their products and solutions at the exhibition.
