Astor Defence is proud to announce the signing of a Supply Agreement with Tripwire South LLC & Global Ordnance for Astor Defence to supply military grade TNT to the US prime contractor. ­e four year Supply Agreement, worth nearly half a billion dollars, will ensure Global Ordnance is able to provide TNT to their customers and the US Government for years to come. ­e demand for TNT has surged in recent years following Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine with the world’s defense industries ramping up production of 155mm artillery shells.

Global Ordnance, and its subsidiary Global Military Products, are a US Veteran owned business located in Tampa and Sarasota, Florida, and is currently one of the fastest growing defense contractors in the USA. With over 250 years of combined experience, they supply the U.S. and Allied armed forces with high quality equipment including Ammunition, Mortar Weapon Systems, Explosives & Accessories.

Astor Defence, headquartered in the UK, is one of the world’s leading military suppliers of ammunition packaging, components and propellants and is in the process of opening a major manufacturing, production and testing facility in Palm Coast, Florida to supply their growing American customer base. ­is new facility will produce small, medium, and large caliber ammunition cans as well as spiral wound mortar containers for 60, 81 and 120mm mortars plus foam internal packaging, and will enable Astor Defense USA to provide a comprehensive packaging solution from a single supplier, thereby streamlining supply chain operations for their customers.
