João Pedro, Director“The wide variety of products and services that we support combined with the flexibility to fulfill different customers’ needs results in tailored solutions for the industry,” says João Pedro, the Aircraft MRO Director at OGMA.
As a Part 145 for MRO Services (participating in EMAR 145 pioneers for military authorities like Portugal, France and Sweden), a DOA (Part 21, Part A, Subpart J), a CAMO, and a POA (Part 21, Part A, Subpart G), OGMA has the competency to attain the sweet spot for different operations requirements.
OGMA’s operations include projects that start with engineering design on major modifications, parts manufacturing and end with the final integration of the aircraft and new livery painting. This enables optimization of costs and lead times through synergies between the various phases of the project.
OGMA has a wide range of interventions on both products and types of services. It provides airframe services to Lockheed Martin C-130, P-3 and F-16; to Airbus C-295; Embraer’s both civil and defense families with Super Tucano, the new C-390, ERJ 145, Legacy, E-Jets, and E2; as well as EH 101 helicopter and PUMA SA330. Supporting the component associated and engines overhaul, OGMA is a Rolls Royce Authorized Service center on RR T56/501, RR AE 2100, RR AE 3007, and RR AE 1107C, highlights its path to provide a wide range of services. Further, the company is implementing a new long-term partnership with Pratt & Whitney on the GTF 1100 and 1900 series that they announced last year. On top of this, having a state-of-the-art painting hangar allows OGMA to have integrated solutions that can optimize costs and lead times on customers’ fleets.
OGMA is continuously looking towards the emerging markets and trends in the MRO world and is actively evaluating possible new solutions in terms of new models for current fleets and completely new fleets, including Lockheed Martin C-130J, Embraer C-390, and E2. “We will continue to achieve excellence in our services, by combining the know-how of a century-old company with the innovation and evolution of the aeronautical sector,” concludes Mr. Pedro.
