Choosing Secure Space Communications

Space-based communications now sit at the center of defense readiness, allied coordination and commercial space expansion. For executives responsible for ground access, the procurement challenge is no longer limited to buying capacity. It is deciding whether a communications partner can help a mission scale without forcing the buyer to build, staff and manage every link in the chain. Satellite counts are rising, launch schedules are tightening and legacy ground infrastructure often cannot absorb the volume, security demands and speed of contact that modern missions require. A good service provider should limit the distance between spacecraft, ground stations and end-user and avoid vague services statements hiding all involved complexities.
