On November 5th & 6th, 2025, the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston will host two national events tackling the country’s most urgent resilience challenges, Disasters Expo USA and Resilient City Expo.
Co-located under one roof, the events bring together emergency managers, government officials, urban planners, infrastructure experts, and private sector leaders. Their shared goal: to address today’s disaster risks and plan for tomorrow’s resilience.
Disasters Expo USA focuses on immediate, tactical solutions for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. Attendees will engage with new tools, suppliers, and inter-agency strategies on the front lines of crisis coordination.
In parallel, Resilient City Expo looks at long-term, systems-based approaches to city-building, covering infrastructure adaptation, climate risk, energy, equity, and policy. The event fosters the cross-sector collaboration needed to build communities that can not only recover but withstand what’s next.
The shared exhibition floor will feature hundreds of suppliers, innovators, and government partners showcasing everything from emergency gear and recovery finance to resilient materials, data tools, and urban planning tech.
Houston, a city with first-hand experience of both acute disaster and long-term recovery, offers the perfect backdrop for these critical conversations.
